About Hewitt Law PLLC

Casey Ann Hewitt formed her own firm after spending six years as a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, the storied New York law firm. Ms. Hewitt's practice at S&C included general commercial litigation, government investigations, and specialized work in commodities, futures, and derivatives. She worked on some of the highest-profile cases and enforcement actions stemming from the financial crisis and enjoyed every minute of it. Prior to joining Sullivan & Cromwell, Ms. Hewitt worked in intellectual property enforcement at the luxury fashion house, Burberry LTD.

Casey's goal is to provide the same type of creative and industry-leading advice she provided to her Wall Street clients to e-commerce businesses, creative agencies, and entrepreneurs. Start-ups and e-commerce businesses operate in a different business landscape than traditional companies, and they need legal services tailored to their operations. Casey has a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and various marketplaces and enjoys working with online sellers on the unique legal issues that web-first businesses encounter.

Apart from her legal work, Casey owns an embroidery company. She previously owned an Amazon FBA business specializing in apparel and an Amazon Merch brand. In her spare time she enjoys collecting and reproducing antique needlework and samplers.  She can often be found in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her husband John-Charles and their enormous dogs, Moose the Newfoundland and Winston the St. Bernard.
